Android
Once the device is registered, WalnutAI allows you to create automated test cases for Android applications using AI Recording. You can describe the required workflow in natural language, and the AI agent performs the actions on the application, captures the flow, and generates the corresponding test steps with parameters.
Steps to Create an Android Test Case Using AI Recording
Navigate to the Intelligence Hub, select Smart Recording, and ensure the Agent is turned on.
Click the Web button in the bottom bar and select Mobile as the test type.

Click the AI Recording button in the bottom bar and select the required AI Recording mode.

Click the Settings icon in the bottom bar and configure the required settings. Select Android as the platform, and configure the Device Source and Device Type.

Once the required settings are configured, the connected device appears under the Device section. Select the required device to proceed.

Under Application, select the application you want to test.

If the required application is not available in the application list, you can install it manually:
Click Install APK.
Select APK as the application type.
Select the required APK file.
Install the application.
Once the installation is complete, select the application.
Click Connect to establish the connection with the selected application. Once connected, the application opens in the Live Screen, allowing the AI agent to interact with it.

Describe the required workflow in the chat panel using a natural-language prompt. For example: Log in to the application using valid credentials, place an order using Cash on Delivery (COD), and verify that the order is successfully placed.

Click Send. The AI agent processes the instructions and performs the requested actions on the Android application. WalnutAI generates the corresponding test steps and parameters, while the actions are displayed on the Live Screen.
Once the test case is generated, review and customize the test steps as required. You can edit request details, modify parameters, skip a step, enable Continue on Failure, add a new step, add a nested test case, cancel a step, or debug the test case.

Once you have completed the required modifications, click Disconnect to end the recording session. Then, click Save to save the generated Android test case and its corresponding steps.
